All drivers operating in a fleet of heavy goods vehicles have a duty to ensure they complete their Driver CPC training. We offer a range of Driver CPC modules which all contribute 7 hours towards the periodic requirement, these modules all differ in content allowing your drivers to complete different courses and learn new skills.
However, the Driver CPC training is not the only way that you can further develop your staff and stay compliant with the latest legislations. There are many other non Driver CPC related courses on offer that all offer their own individual benefits to your company, some of these help you meet required safety criteria to work on certain sites while others help to reduce the likelihood of accidents occurring within your workplace.
Here at Seven Training we have the capability to offer you training courses that meet the criteria for FORS, CLOCS and WRRR compliance, whatever your training requirements are we will strive to provide a solution. If you are going to be working in London or the surrounding areas, for example on a TFL site, it will be a requirement that your fleet is compliant with FORS, CLOCS and WRRR. We offer a number of courses that can help your fleet and drivers meet some specific on-site requirements such as Van Smart and Safe Urban Driving, both of these courses incorporate a theory and practical element with the major focus on increasing road safety and raising the awareness of vulnerable road users within the urban environment.
We also offer other safety-based training courses which do not contribute to part of the Driver CPC requirement but offer their own individual benefits. The banksman training course is a very popular course and teaches drivers or depot employees vital signals to increase safety. Banksman training ensures that an organisation meets its legal requirements. Reducing the risk of costly accidents when carrying out common, but dangerous, reversing manoeuvres. This course aims to raise awareness of the dangers caused when large vehicles reverse, as well as introducing practical techniques and hand signals to assist drivers with this manoeuvre.
